NOTE: YOUR CURRENT KEYBOARD WILL STILL BE 100% FUNCTIONAL AND YOU CAN CHANGE BETWEEN YOUR CURRENT KEYBOARD INPUTS AND THE NEWLY CREATED ADAPTED ONE THROUGH THE LANGUAGE SETTINGS OR QUICKLY CHANGE THEM FROM ONE TO THE OTHER IN THE TASK BAR WHICH THE BUTTONS NAME THAT ON IT WILL SAY ON IT WILL DIFFER FROM KEYBOARD LANGUAGE CHOSEN. However the main downside due to this is that backspace, ESC and tab are not, currently to my knowledge, able to be changed, but if any person can figure a way out i will try to pin their reply or whatever.īut i hope this helps feel free to ask any questions or for any clarifications and hopefully the limitations can be figured out. It should take a few seconds but finally once you've got a big window saying its all done, log out and back in of your account and when you click to change languages it should be in the window and when you are clicked on a browser click on the newly created keyboard inputs and it will work for that window. It will ask you to say okay a couple of times but then you want to click yes to opening the directory and load the setup application. Once you've put all the inputs you want select the "Project tab" and "build" the keyboard. **NOTE: FOR THE SAKE OF MY SANITY WHEN I SAY BOX 1 IT IS INPUT "" AND BOX 2 IS "SHIFT"**For - "" input box 1 = " U+002e" box 2 = " U+003e" So for the input you will need to type or copy the text over The only 2 that will be necessary are the top 2 boxes which are named "" and "shift+" But for the other inputs (which i will state below) you will have to click on the key and select "All" in the pop-up box. The method is click on the button you want to assign the key to and press the input that is wanted and press ok. There is an easy method however sadly it only works and is useful in battles is for the inputs 1 through 7. Once you have done this you should be able to edit the inputs. You should create a new preset by clicking "File" then "New." Once you have done that the keyboard should be completely empty of keys and you should be able to start modifying the key inputs. Once you have opened the application, a keyboard should show up. So as I'm guessing you guys are competent enough to install the layout creator so i wont give a description on how to do it but there's a video that i have linked if need be. The only item that you need to download is a Microsoft application which you can get from their website, at the link below, or if you're paranoid search "Microsoft Keyboard Layout creator 1.4" in google or whatever. Before you say this is false or a scam or malware or whatever. I have only tried this on a Windows device but for any Mac or Linux etc user i'm sure there is an alternative Unicode keyboard bindings set that can follow the following steps to change your inputs. NOTE: THIS WILL NOT HAVE AN EFFECT ON NORMAL KEYBOARD SETTINGS OR ANY OTHER EXECUTABLE'S I do not know Ninja Kiwi's stance on this but if any staff have any issue with this post, feel free to ask me to remove or, as i'm not very active, please remove it yourself. I am a rather new ish player to btd battles but I've been watching quite a few influences of the community for a long time, and i have noticed a lot of complaints about the lack of key binding customization on steam so, I've found a way for it to work. NOTE: THIS WONT WORK ON BACKSPACE, ESC OR TAB BUT WILL WORK WITH EVERY OTHER INPUT (ie.
